Jon Sterckx

Jon is a versatile percussionist based in Devon, UK. 

Jon plays a range of percussion instruments from different musical traditions and has worked across a wide range of musical styles, from traditional music forms to contemporary experimental styles, theatre collaborations and many fusion projects. 

Jon studied tabla in the UK and in India with several teachers, and is also experienced in Middle Eastern and  West African drumming styles. Jon works as a performer, instrumental tutor, session musician and gives workshops in schools, colleges and universities.
